Hello, I’m Lucy

I am a photographer with a heartfelt passion for capturing moments that stir emotion, spark reflection, and invite connection. My work draws inspiration from both travel and the natural world, weaving together scenes that reveal quiet beauty in the everyday.

My Story

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of watching my grandfather behind the lens.

As a burn survivor, the way I see the world carries a deep sense of gratitude. Every texture, every colour, every beam of light feels significant. There is beauty in places many people might overlook, and photography allows me to pause, appreciate, and honour those moments. My journey has shaped not only who I am, but how I create - grounded in resilience, perspective, and a genuine appreciation for life.

Through my lens, I aim to capture more than just an image. I aim to capture feeling - connection, strength, vulnerability, and joy. Photography, for me, is a way of telling stories that don’t always need words. It’s about finding beauty in the ordinary, resilience in the unexpected, and light even in difficult places.

I am endlessly grateful for the ability to see, to create, and to share these moments with others. What began as a childhood inspiration has become a meaningful way to connect - with the world, with people, and with the stories that make us who we are.
